The Hotel Alpaga is a 5-star hotel in the French town of Megeve. The hotel is one of the new chalet-style hotels springing up across the Alps.
A breath of fresh air, a unique view of the Mont Blanc, immersed in the megevan nature. What better dream right now? Anthony Bisquerra, the chef, was recently awarded a second Michelin star in this magical setting, and my entire team is preparing for the summer season. The watchword ensures you have the most beautiful alpine experience while paying particular attention to your safety. Even more this summer, the Hotel Alpaga Megeve is here to share the love for this unique place and help you disconnect and reconnect with the essentials.
Like a mountain hamlet, the Alpaga's chalets emerge at the edge of a winding road, clustered around the hotel's beating heart: the main chalet and its restaurants, the gardens, a pop-up bar, and hot tub with views over Mont Blanc. Enjoying a cozy, stylish, and warm winter and summer atmosphere, it hosts regular and casual visitors alike.
The rooms and chalets enjoy views over the high mountain pastures and surrounding peaks through expansive picture windows. Their warm, contemporary aesthetic is inspired by the traditional architecture of Megève, which gives pride of place to exposed surfaces and fine materials. Welcoming, spacious, and filled with light, the rooms invite guests on an inner journey to a world of pure relaxation.
The hotel's 22 rooms are shared between two chalets designed in the region's typical style. Each enjoys views over the high mountain pastures and surrounding peaks through expansive picture windows. Its warm, contemporary aesthetic is inspired by the traditional architecture of Megève, which gives pride of place to exposed surfaces and fine materials. Welcoming, spacious, and filled with light, these rooms invite guests on an inner journey to a world of pure relaxation. Rooms are available from 4 pm on arrival and vacated by noon on the departure day. Two rooms are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Gaspard chalet and its five suites - The five suites in the Gaspard chalet pay tribute to the resort's celebrated guide. These five independent apartments were renovated in style, befitting this private, luxury hamlet. Some open onto Val d'Arly, others onto Mont Blanc. They each enjoy a spacious terrace or balcony. The suites are available from 4 pm on arrival and vacated by noon on departure.
Whether nestled by the fireplace, sipping an in-room cocktail, or enjoying a gastronomic lunch in the sun… This high-altitude hamlet is perfect for spending quality time with friends or family. Covered with a mantle of powder snow in winter and lush green pasture land in summer, the view over the Aravis range is breathtaking.
Authentic cuisine. The Alpaga serves two versions of its authentic, seasonal Alpine cuisine in La Table de l'Alpaga gastronomic restaurant and l'Onyx bistro. "La Table de l'Alpaga" - For La Table, two Michelin stars restaurants since 2020, Anthony Bisquerra draws inspiration from the Alpine environment to craft menus that mirror the changing seasons.
From the Atlantic coasts to the Megevane lands, Anthony Bisquerra has built strong relationships with local artisans. Passionate about the taste for good products, he offers an exclusive menu using vegetables to give particular attention. Artisans provide him with exceptional products at the pace of the seasons, the result of their fishing, farming, and gardens.
L'Onyx - For a more informal dining experience, l'Onyx is open from midday to midnight for lunch or dinner. It's a great place to curl up with a book, play chess, or for pre-dinner drinks. This is where the hamlet's residents treat themselves to Anthony Bisquerra's cuisine in its "ardoise" version: a lunch and dinner menu of classic Alpine dishes that change daily.
A breath of fresh air, a unique view of the Mont Blanc, immersed in the megevan nature. The watchword ensures you have the most beautiful alpine experience while paying particular attention to your safety. However, be reassured that you'll be able to benefit from other wellness activities such as yoga classes, sophrological hikes, VTT, and more. In addition, we'll put at your disposal deckchairs in the gardens and indoor fitness, which is still available. Finally, the lounge area will be reconfigured to create more space.
Swimming pool, with massage jets and fountains, accessible from 10 am to 8 pm, maximum of 10 people allowed in the pool (children welcome under adult supervision until 4 pm). Gym - The hotel's gym is open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. A coaching service is available for hotel guests on request.
