Villa - Each of the nine spacious villas at Azur is completely private, making your stay as peaceful as possible. Designed for comfort, the identical villas are chic and sophisticated, with contemporary décor and natural wood paneling, creating a feeling of harmony between the accommodations and the landscape. A wall of glass frames Lake Wakatipu and its surrounding mountains, and the deep-soak bath sits in a large bay window. The world comes to you at Azur: from in-villa massages to meals delivered to your private balcony or your table by the gas fire. Have local restaurant meals creatively presented in your pied-à-Terre, or ask the chauffeur to drop you at your choice of Queenstown eatery. Good to know about Azur Queenstown
Queenstown is an all year round destination. Each season offers something special. Summer of course is our best weather, but NZ's climate is not harsh and our winters are fun, with ski fields very close to the property. Autumn colours in our region are spectacular and Spring is a lovely mild time of the year, with many sunny days.
Azur Queenstown consists of nine private villas that are most suited for couples. However, Azur does welcome children and can place a rollaway bed in the villa, but the maximum number of people per villa is three, including children. They often have families with older children, and if one of the children is above 14, then two adjoining villas are needed.
The closest airport is Queenstown (ZQN) which is 25 kilometers away - Transfer takes around 30 minutes.
The hotel rates include return transfers to the airport. A member of the Azur team will meet guests and transfer them in the hotel car. Azur also includes a short tour of the local township on the way to the property.
Azur Queenstown offers free parking for all guests
Queenstown is known as the extreme capital of New Zealand. Azur Queenstown has a very diverse range of activities in the area which suit all ages. Some examples would be hiking, cycling, jet-boating, bungy jumping, winery tours, canyoning, sky-diving, scenic tours, and many fantastic dining experiences.
Azur cares very much about our environment and understands they must protect it and they encourage the guests to help us. A few examples of how they try to make a difference are:
In New Zealand, you are able to drink water directly from the tap, Azur encourages our guests to do so, and therefore minimize the use of plastic bottles. The bathroom amenities are provided by local New Zealand brand Linden Leaves and are presented in large pump bottles, no more small plastic bottles The bathroom tissues are all produced from bamboo.

Azur serves breakfast and pre-dinner canapés. They do not have a lunch/dinner restaurant, as our proximity to downtown Queenstown is very close and our guests enjoy being able to choose from the many fantastic dining options of Queenstown. Azur can help with recommendations, reservations and provides transfers to/from downtown. For those guests who would like to have a quiet evening in, Azur has relationships with 12 local restaurants and we will create a perfect in-villa dining experience.
Anytime! This is the guests' holiday, and Azur will adapt to their needs, so they will make that happen if they would like breakfast at 2 pm.
Azur has several sources of heating and cooling in the room, including an air-conditioner/heat pump, gas fireplace, underfloor heating, and a wall heater - all of these can be controlled by the guest.
Smoking is prohibited in all Villas; however, each villa has a private outdoor deck where guests are welcome to smoke.

The team! Azur Queenstown believes luxury service is very simple, it is just about caring - caring for guests, the team, and the environment. They treat all guests as individuals and make their stay unique to their expectations.
Azur offers the best of both worlds. The property is private and has a feeling of remoteness. It is set on a hillside with spectacular un-interrupted views overlooking the mountain ranges and lake, so there is a feeling of being in true NZ nature and yet in five minutes you can be downtown and able to make the most of all that Queenstown has to offer.
Azur is not a hotel, it is a small boutique property and the villas have been purposely designed and placed on the land to enhance privacy and the views. The villas cascade down the hillside, so all nine villas have an uninterrupted view. Being 79sqm, the villas are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are well-appointed and boast a beautiful spa bath set into a bay window. Each villa also has a private deck.
Although Azur Lodge do not have a gym on-site, all guests receive complimentary access to Queenstown gym. Opening hours are 6 am - 9 pm Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 6 pm Saturday and 10.30 am - 6 pm Sunday.
