Among the treasures of the Hotel Bernini Palace is the large frescoed room on the first floor with the portraits of the protagonists of the Risorgimento. It used to be the Parliament's Buvette, and today it is the hotel's prestigious Breakfast Room. Along the walls you can admire the faces of the great personalities of the time: Garibaldi in the center, surrounded by many Tuscans, such as Nero Corsini, last minister of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Giuseppe Montanelli and Cosimo Ridolfi, Vincenzo Salvagnoli and Manfredo Fanti, but also by the Piedmontese, Cavour and Brofferio, Balbo and Gioberti, Lamarmora and Valerio, with Giuseppe La Farina.

Daniele Manin also appears, in a tribute to the protagonist of the Republic of San Marco in 1849, while Giuseppe Mazzini is absent, too faithful to republican ideals to swear allegiance to King and therefore be able to set foot in Parliament.
