Conservatorium Hotel

Offering the highest levels of luxury and convenience to its guests, the Conservatorium Hotel has long occupied the top slot in the hotel industry of the Netherlands. Sitting in the heart of Amsterdam at the museum quarter, the great wonder is a monument that unfolds a greater side to the quality of life.

True to European ambiance, the hotel merges nature with human-made elements. As a result, the vicinity stands tall as one of Europe's most extravagant monuments. The state-of-the-art structure is the epitome of contemporary craftsmanship, carefully balanced with an exotic ambiance. Moreover, it hints at a more gothic appeal making the hotel a hot spot for adventurers.

Overview

Designed by architect Piero Lissoni - high ceilings and marble fittings narrate an elite Victorian charm. Likewise, the Taiko bar and the exotic indoor pool give it a sophisticated vibe. Well-suited to just about any age group, the Conservatorium Hotel invites guests to experience a new reality.

The 1,000 sqm Akasha Holistic Wellbeing, the bar, and the lounge are distinct hotel features. At these spots, guests can relax and enjoy their stay in utter luxury. Moreover, the monumental hotel finds its sweet spot next to the Van Gogh Museum, Concertgebouw, Vondelpark, and the Rijksmuseum if exploring the city is on the agenda.

Additionally, if you are looking for some street-style clothing, the city's most popular shopping spots are moments away from you. Furthermore, the Conservatorium Hotel's location draws guests in, making it the best hotel for tourists.

Rooms and Suites

Rendering a vast array of options, the hotel has 129 rooms and suites in total. These feature cutting-edge technologies and breathtaking furnishings in each one of its luxuriously embellished rooms. The eight-story building also offers a versatile list of options for its suites.

The suite range includes duplex guest rooms and several other options with a penthouse. Besides, the rooms are spacious and convenient, endorsing a larger-than-life ambiance with tall ceilings and panoramic windows. The view out of the double-glazed windows lets guests stay connected to city life. And while the amenities inside are of the sort, guests find it hard to pick between the two.

The architecture, however, retains an element of the antique Victorian heritage with the subtle linens and furnishings. Some handy features integrated into each room include Wi-Fi, beverages and snacks, and a coffee machine. There is also a private bar, 24-hour room service, luxurious bathrooms with flat-screen TVs, and newspaper editions. Besides, there's complimentary access to the Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Center, Designer micro cotton towels, and other amenities.

Akasha Holistic Wellbeing

The award-winning hotel is not just that in the namesake. Conservatorium Hotel takes the "relaxation" aspect up a notch with its Akasha Holistic Wellbeing enhancement, not just a typical spa. It has dedicated a whopping 1,000 square meters of space to utter peace. This lets guests relax in the indoor watsu pool, a well-equipped gym, and a state-of-the-art Hammam.

The world-class Akasha Holistic Wellbeing lets guests indulge in self-care in a much more personalized fashion, rendering treatments and massages as per the phenomenon of Watsu. In addition, the therapists also offer various services, from treating guests with the appropriate nutrition meditation, and more.

The spacious pool measures up to 18m x 5m. This turns a simple swim into a memorable experience with its soothing ambiance and therapeutic elements in pure Lissoni fashion.

Dining

Food being a significant attraction on the property, guests enjoy Amsterdam's finest delicacies in its carefully curated menu supervised and managed by one of the country's most prominent chefs. Hida beef is a specialty at the hotel. Wasabi is yet another exclusive condiment, making the vicinity a place for those with a taste for fine dining.

The beverages department is another unique amenity offered solely at the Conservatorium. The entire culinary experience is among the finest, catering to the interests and preferences of valued guests. Besides, the French ambiance integrated into the Taiko menu is a must to try out.

Additionally, the Taiko bar and the Brasserie rely solely on fresh in-season ingredients for quality and taste. Perhaps that is how the culinary crew has earned the "award-winning" title.

Summer Love with Taiko

Summers are a season to cherish in Great Britain, and to preserve that same tradition; the Conservatorium Hotel features a unique outdoor setting for the summer season. The sunny days and the alluring evenings are embellished with an authentic sense of city life, with the Taiko Brasserie terrace open for guests to dine at.

Chef Schilo van Coevorden is all set to give you the taste of a lifetime with his supreme skills and expertise. The chef has mastered the art of cooking in a way. His divine delicacies have guests drawn to flavors from all across the globe.

Another popular feature gaining more leverage in the summer months is the "Conservatorium Lounge," known as the "Amsterdam Living Room." The glass ceiling and the floor-to-ceiling windows give away a true sense of freedom and vigor. Guests can devour the finest cuisine prepared by the world's top chefs. At the same time, the warm sunbeams shimmer down the sophisticated lounge, accentuating the minimalist architecture with just the right measure of warmth.

Catering guests from different walks of life, the lounge's ambiance endorses a versatile appeal with comfortable furnishings, sleek coffee tables, and divine views. The glass vessel is also a unique hybrid between gothic architecture and some mainstream urbanism.

Lastly, the "Taiko Bar" makes things even more unique, letting guests taste the divine nectar brewed locally by the top distillers. The Asian influence is pleasingly evident in not only the food but the drinks as well. This proves the hotel's splendor to a whole new level.

Takeaway

The Conservatorium Hotel is a cut above the rest. It has a sleek design that gives a contemporary feel to contemporary design. Moreover, the staff is friendly, and the food is spot-on. You will not regret staying in this super classy environment.
