The Dupont Circle Hotel is a quaint luxury hotel. It sits conveniently between Georgetown and Kalorama and the city's historical and political center. Moreover, it is the ideal place for anyone who wants to dine out, drink, or relax in the nation's capital city of Washington DC. After a multimillion-dollar investment program, the hotel presents a blend of American and European styles and services to the town. The charm of world-renowned interior designer Martin Brudnizki and New York-based designer Clodagh is also added.
Located at 1500 New Hampshire Avenue, the hotel stands only a few blocks from some of Washington's most famous landmarks. The White House, for example, is just a mile away, while Georgetown is just a 10-minute drive away. Dupont Circle is a large, bustling circle. It is a green focal point in an area of businesses and restaurants. There is a mix of contemporary blocks and elegant old Brownstones. Furthermore, the suites provide the city's best views on the ninth story.
Inside, the boutiquey, design-led atmosphere belies the contemporary, boxy exterior. Lobby seating and an open fireplace make the stone-clad lobby a cozy spot to hang out. Brudnizki has just remodeled the Pembroke and Doyle bars. For a pre-dinner sharpener, go to sunny Pembroke. It has cream clapboard walls, salmon-pink velvet couches, and a sensuously illuminated center bar.
Doormen and bell-ringers help visitors with baggage and taxi service. Although the front desk provides informal concierge services, there is no distinct concierge desk. Moreover, on request, turndown service is available. It includes slippers placed bedside, a Frette bathrobe hung in the bathroom, bottled water, lights dimmed, the TV turned on, and shutters closed.
Additionally, catering from Café Dupont is available for all hours of the day and night in your hotel room. Suite guests get "concierge service" around the clock. The personnel at The Pembroke quickly notice whether a glass is empty or a fork has dropped. Furthermore, third Space operates a 24-hour gym in the basement, with valet parking.
There are 327 guest rooms and suites at the Dupont Circle Hotel. The Classic Rooms are being renovated, and these spacious guest rooms epitomize luxury and well-being. They are in neutral tones of creams, charcoals, and chocolate brown. However, the bathrooms (showers only) are coated in sophisticated gray-and-white marble.
Moreover, four-poster beds, sitting rooms, and floor-to-ceiling windows give views of the city's rooftops from every room. There are also balconies in some of the rooms and flat-screen TV, and Nespresso machines. Plus, you'll find Malin + Goetz amenities in the bathrooms. Comfortable, high-density 300-count cotton sheets adorn the beds.
Additionally, the Penthouse Level delivers luxury to a new level in the city. It is an entire floor consisting of 12 terrace suites. These include the breathtaking new two-bedroom Grand Penthouse Suite. The Grand Penthouse Suite is one of the city's most significant. It offers a warm, stylishly equipped living and dining room and an expansive, well-fitted, heated outdoor patio. Furthermore, the views from this suite extend to the Washington Monument.
You may sample anything on Pembroke's extensive menu. From a Greek salad and a vintage prawn cocktail to lamb tagine and Loup de Mer with olive tapenade. It's a shaded location to relax in the summertime. Moreover, classics like blueberry pancakes, waffles with strawberries, and whipped cream are available for breakfast. You'd be happy to spend a few hours with a martini at the 1950s-inspired center bar. Next door at the Doyle, you'll find a more ominous bar. This is where you may sip secretive martinis in the style of Mad Men from the mid-century.
The Pembroke, created by Chef Harper McClure, opened to the public as Washington DC's newest dining hotspot. Moreover, it has been dubbed by Washington Post culinary critic Tom Sietsema as "carved from another cloth." In addition to a seasonal outdoor patio, The Pembroke has an enticing combination of cream-paneled walls. These are covered with whimsical artwork, comfortable salmon-colored leather couches, and gorgeous marble tabletops.
The marble bar, a typical cocktail bar from the 1950s, serves a wide selection of spirits and the best wines. Chefs use local and fresh produce in the Contemporary American Cuisine menu. Lunch and dinner are served daily at this location.
Martin Brudnizki Design Studio created the pleasant, club-like Doyle Bar. Doyle is a favorite hangout for the city's more affluent residents. It is a throwback to the days of crisply fitted suits, ice-cold martinis, and mid-century grandeur.
Offering panoramic views of Dupont Circle and a wide selection of Irish whiskeys, this bar pays tribute to the cocktail culture of the 1950s and 60s. Moreover, it contains a variety of short and powerful cocktails. Plus, there are some inventive twists on classics. The extensive whiskey, rum, gin, and vodka selection in the rear bar complements the comprehensive wine list. Throughout the day, a tasty selection of small appetizers is also available.
Guests staying at The Dupont Circle hotel may use the basement level 1's state-of-the-art gym and fitness facility. It is operated in partnership with Third Space. All hotel guests get free access to the gym. Moreover, it has a variety of cardio and weight-training machines.
It's a fantastic setting for visitors who want to be active while taking in the sights of Washington, D.C., thanks to The Dupont Circle's central position. To get to the National Mall and the Lincoln Memorial's famous steps, go south on 19th Street. Then, jog along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath in Georgetown, Virginia, heading west. Furthermore, you may glimpse the White House and Capitol Hill as you run along Connecticut Avenue to the south.
Designer Martin Brudnizki's expensive renovations at the Doyle Collection's luxury hotel Dupont Circle have been well received. It provides much-needed glitz to this Washington, DC, United States neighborhood. Moreover, the Pembroke, one of the Dupont Circle Hotel's offerings, has received high praise and has drawn in a hip audience.
