In the warmer months, the Rooftop. I enjoy nothing more on a sunny afternoon than spending a few moments up there to soak up the views across the harbor. It truly is one of Sydney's best-kept secrets. Well, maybe not anymore! Seeing the fleets of yachts and the epic cruise ships arrive and depart is something that never gets old. I also really enjoy a quiet moment in the Courtyard, located in the center of the property and part of Club InterContinental. Visiting Sydney

What should every visitor do at least once while in Sydney - Much of the city and its iconic attractions are outdoors. The best way to see much of it is on the ferry from Double Bay to Circular Quay. Departing from Double Bay Wharf, just a two-minute stroll from the property, the ferry travels around Darling Point, where the North Sydney skyline and historical residents, including Kirribilli House (Australian Prime Minister's Sydney residence), are revealed. As you glide past Potts Point, the spectacular Sydney Harbour Bridge comes into view, followed by the city skyline's truly glorious sight. Finally, as the ferry turns into Circular Quay, you sail past the iconic Sydney Opera House. A little tip – the ferry is actually the best spot to capture uninterrupted photos of both the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
