Bali is a small world of natural beauty, with everything from lush tropical forests and flowing rivers to sandy beaches, holy mountains, and terraced paddy fields. The Oberoi Bali, one of the most famous places in Bali, is on the coast and surrounded by 15 acres of lush gardens. This makes it an excellent place for traditional dances to be performed. There are also restaurants with great food and beautiful ocean views, complemented by specially crafted romantic experiences.
The hotel is on Seminyak Beach, Bali, Indonesia. It's hard to imagine that the flower-filled beachfront grounds are surrounded by the high-energy shopping, dining, and nightlife of Seminyak, but they are. It is only five minutes walking distance to the beach, six minutes to walk to Seminyak Square, and about eight miles to get to Ngurah Rai International Airport.
When you stay at The Oberoi Bali, it's like going back to a calmer time in Indonesia. Under the trees, thatched houses peek out from behind sculptures. Plus, the temple spires to look out at the flower-covered stone walls.
You will feel like you've stepped into a beautiful painting by an Indonesian artist as you wander around the 15 acres of idyllic countryside. Furthermore, only 20% of the land is used for buildings, creating a calm atmosphere.
Since this is Seminyak's most luxurious resort, it has a wide range of amenities. These include a tennis court, a fitness center, and a peaceful spa with ponds and fountains. The Oberoi Spa has a beauty salon, a gym, a tennis court, and two treatment rooms. Additionally, the heart of the resort is the outdoor pool area, which has sun loungers and bright umbrellas all around it.
You can also get an afternoon tea at the amphitheater and watch Balinese dance shows. The luxury hotel tries to give visitors a typical local experience by having people dressed in traditional clothes which are happy to help and smile.
The Oberoi Bali gives you traditional thatched accommodation with modern conveniences. Each of the 74 luxury Lanai guest rooms has a patio where you can eat outside. There is also a sunken bath in the air-conditioned bathroom. Moreover, in every room and villa, the most up-to-date technology combines natural color schemes, beautiful views of the beach or garden, and classic design. They range from homes with one bedroom that looks out over the Indian Ocean to rooms with a private terrace, garden, private pool, and patio.
Additionally, there are stone walls between each property at the resort, which adds to the sense of privacy. The traditional furniture adds to the old-world feel of the property, which may seem dated compared to nearby alternatives with more modern decor. The villas also have original teak wood furniture like four-poster beds. Plus, there are Nescafe Dolce Gusto espresso machines, and minibars with wine.
There is a bar and two restaurants serving delectable cuisines beside ocean views. The main restaurant at the resort, Kura Kura, is a romantic house with a thatched roof. It serves local specialties and Indian tandoori, and a large selection of meat and seafood. Even though the service is sometimes a little slow, it is always perfect. The attentive staff or the rolling bread cart never runs out of nibbles or wine refills between each dish.
Frangipani Cafe
An excellent and friendly place to eat all day long. In Seminyak, Indonesia, Frangipani Cafe is an al fresco place to eat outside just a few feet from the beach. It serves a wide range of breakfast and lunch options. In a tropical setting, coconut, frangipani, and hibiscus plants grow around chairs made of teak wood.
Additionally, at Frangipani Café, a seaside patio restaurant with tables shaded by umbrellas, breakfast is served. There's something for everyone on the breakfast menu, whether you want something sweet or savory. There are also classics like omelets and frittatas and more exotic dishes like Indonesian and Indian curry.
Kura Kura Restaurant
In a tropical island setting, you can get real food. The turtle's nest on the nearby beaches gave the Kura Kura Restaurant its name. It is an open-air, thatched restaurant with traditional antiques and fantastic ocean views. So take a deep breath and get ready to be enchanted by the smells of European and Indonesian treats.
Kayu Bar
People who like to relax can get traditional and modern drinks, champagne, good wines, small meals, and snacks at Kayu Bar. Moreover, guests can dine under the stars at a table lit by candles with a view of the beach or landscaped gardens and listen to live traditional music. Besides, Kayu Bar is open from noon to midnight every day.
Private massage rooms are in traditional open-air pavilions. These have views of private tropical gardens and pretty lily ponds with glinting goldfish. The Oberoi Spa is the only one like it. Traditional Balinese and Western therapies combine with modern technology and natural ingredients to clean, tone, and refresh the body. The treatments that make Oberoi famous combine old ideas with modern science.
Additionally, since the pool is right on the beach, you can swim in it or sunbathe on the loungers while looking out at the ocean. The exercise room with air-conditioning also has cardio and weight machines. There are also free weights and a view of the garden.
Taking a romantic stroll along the beach as the sun goes down makes for a beautiful scene. Here, most nights are clear and filled with stars. This is what makes memories. This three-hectare area is also home to more than 1,000 birds of 250 different kinds. Moreover, take in the sights and sounds of the Taro forest from the back of an elephant as you take a safari through the park.
The Oberoi Beach Resort Bali was the first hotel to open on Bali's Seminyak beach, which is now a popular place for tourists. On a 15-acre beachfront property, the oceanfront pool, fine dining, and heavenly spa are surrounded by beautiful grounds. This makes it feel like a world away from the restaurants and nightlife just a few blocks away.
